If you have a wavy curl pattern or wish to keep your curls more loose, you can squeeze curl gel into larger sections and use a smaller amount of hair gel. You can also brush it through your hair with your fingers or a brush, but do know that this will loosen your curl pattern. If you have very curly or natural hair with a tighter curl pattern, you may wish to divide your hair into smaller sections and divide a generous amount of hair gel to help you define your curls.
