How do I apply eye serum?


An eye serum should be applied in the morning and at night after cleansing your face. During the same time that you apply a serum to your face, you can apply your eye serum to the area under the eyes and around the eyes. Taking your ring and middle finger, lightly dab a pea-sized amount of your eye serum across the skin under your eye and around the eye area. Use gentle pressing and tapping motions to apply eye serum, do not rub it in as this can cause stress on the eye area. Be careful not to get any eye serum into your eye and avoid rubbing the eye area back and forth. 


What does eye serum do? 


Eye serums and eye creams deliver precise, concentrated amounts of beneficial ingredients that deliver nutrients and vitamins to the skin around the eyes. Eye serums with retinol, for instance, contain retinol which is a derivative of vitamin A to increase skin cell turnover for fresh, younger-looking skin. Eye serums with vitamin C make a good eye serum for dark circles since vitamin C works as a skin brightening agent to alleviate skin discoloration. 


How to use eye serum


Eye serums can be used in much the same way as an eye cream. Eye serums for dark circles, eye serums for bags and eye serum for wrinkles are the most common. Eye serums are gently applied under the eye, around the eyes, and above the eyes near the brow area. They can be used both AM and PM (after cleansing and before applying your moisturizer) to deliver their benefits directly into the skin.
