A tinted moisturizer offers the benefit of both hydration and color to your complexion, giving you light coverage to help even out skin tone and camouflage hyperpigmentation. 


How do I apply tinted moisturizer? 


To apply your tinted moisturizer, start with a freshly cleansed face. Apply toners, serums and other moisturizers that you wish to include in your skincare routine. Your tinted moisturizer will be your last step. Take an adequate amount of your tinted moisturizer and gently rub into your face starting at your cheeks and feathering outward. Can you over moisturize your face?


While it is better to err on the side of caution and adequately moisturize your face, it is possible to over moisturize your face. The outer layer of the skin can only absorb so much. Depending on your skin type you may need a heavy moisturizer such as an oil based moisturizer or a lightweight moisturizer such as an oil free moisturizer.
